A native Charlestonian and Clemson University alumni, Zach is happy to be serving the Charleston community as one of Lowcountry Financial Group’s financial advisors. He will tell you that he is passionate about education and financial literacy, especially when it comes to planning for retirement. He entered the financial planning industry because he wanted to learn how to use his knowledge to help those around him live a life unburdened by financial stress.
He noticed that when it comes to money, most people either take advice from their parents, or do what those around them do. “There is a herd mentality of sorts when it comes to investing, but the herd is not wealthy – so by and large, doing what your peers are doing is not the key to a happy and secure retirement,” he says. He takes great joy in meeting with clients after the early stages of planning and seeing them quickly develop confidence.
In his free time, Zach enjoys spending time with loved ones at the beach at Isle of Palms and playing golf at any one of the many beautiful courses around Charleston. He also works to give back to the community by volunteering his time as Treasurer for the Charleston County Clemson Club.
